#21 - Same here. :) Those DFI boards are back with new fruity colors.

No problem #20, I was just curious. I could tell as well, though I didn't mind. I was too busy drooling at the ASUS and DFI 925X boards. *faints*

#19 - There weren't many things wrong in the article but it was obvious that they did the articles in hurry or as Anand described "sleep deprived". You could tell that they didn't took the careful time in writing the articles. The Computex articles were full of good information but they just didn't had that kick in the writing.

I really can't desribe it but compare the Computex articles to one of the reviews and you will see the precision differences. :-)

Sorry for taking this out of proportion.

#18, what wasn't grammatically professional about the Computex coverage?
  • Anonymous - Tuesday, June 8, 2004 - link

Adam - I totally agree with you. I can guess that Anand's favorite topic is CPU, which is why we always saw reviews and articles related to CPUs from him. Now we can see some other stuff from him as well like GPUs and Storage reviews.

I do have one concern though. In the Computex articles, I noticed that the writing style is not as professional as it used to be, but I understand that everyone from AnandTech who to Computex was on tight schedule and had to write the articles pretty fast and they were also tired.

In the storage review, I can give a benefit of the doubt because Anand hasn't been in touch with writing for a long time. Of course, as you can see my writing is alright but I have always loved AnandTech's professional and easy to read technical writings. :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Yes, but Anand wrote this one himself. I think now that he finished school and can devote (much) more time to Anandtech the site will be further enhanced.
    ;)
Can't you wait for the AnandMac section???

That guy was seriously annoying. You might as well read other reputable sites such as StorageReview, TechReport, and XbitLabs instead of waiting on AnandTech. There are other good sites besides AnandTech, but apparently he didn't knew that. According to him, AT is the only site that makes up the internet.

Haha, that guy that was always asking for the Raptor article was a freaking idiot. Maybe now he will die a horrible cyber death.
  • Anonymous - Monday, June 7, 2004 - link

Adam - It would be funny if the guy comes back and asks for the Raptor article. I think I would go insane. :-)

So Anand, you finally published the long awaited Raptor article...

    ...LOL...

Hopefully the individual who kept asking "where the hell is the raptor aricle?" will come by and thank you...

At the very beginning of his blog, he said that he currently his "lab" is in his old house where they used to live, but said that he is building AnandTech's very own office. I am not sure if it will be just an office or a professional "lab" that PCWorld and PCMagazine has.

If it is an office, what will Anand do in the office all day. I mean what kind of things at AnandTech require a full office.

It would be good if we could get some info. on the lab.
  • jliechty - Monday, June 7, 2004 - link

Anand's getting his own lab? Cool. And good thing it's in NC too, so if he blows anything up I should be safe over here in IN. ;-)

#9: Ain't that the truth. But I might say that the topic of anand's lab has started a spark in me too. ;) :)

only schizophrenic persons would have a conversation online timing three minutes from start to finish...at least space out the posts next time to make it look authentic...besides, anand can probably see the IP and knows it's from the same person.

Hey Anand, when you started this blog you told us that AnandTech is building it's very own headquarters. How's the progress on that? How many rooms will you have in that office? Will AnandTech's office be open to visitors? :)
